Hello, World

I may not be creating this webpage from scratch, I felt that phrase was appropriate. The page itself might not be from scratch, but my posts will (mostly) be, and that's kind of the same thing.

Anywho.

Welcome.

To... here. You are here.

It may not look like much now, but I pray that God will use "here" in a special way.

This is my blog.

And here, I will write.

And here, you will read.

Maybe.

I mean.

I don't know.

I'm sure I'm boring someone out there.

I mean...

This is the internet.

But I digress.

My name is Rose Johnson. I'm 19 years old at the start of this blog. I am a sophomore at Bob Jones University. My major is Biblical Counseling Special Education.

Being a Special Education major is new. Very new. It's been... three weeks.

It is only by God's grace that my choices in classes each semester have been what they have been. Most of my liberal arts core is out of the way (just three Bible classes left after this semester), and some of the classes I'm taking this semester are specific requirements for Special Education. And I chose them long before I changed my major. Yes, I will have to stay in college an extra year. But it could have been much worse. Just one more reason to know that I did the right thing in changing my major.

But why the switch? That's a story I'll save for another day.

My purpose in creating this blog is to chronicle my adventures as a SpEd major, and later a SpEd teacher. I want to share things I've learned, things I discover, and unique experiences. I also want to share my heart. My love for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The world as I see it. What God has taught me. What He continues to teach me. And I want every post I make to be for His glory. Including this one.

I welcome you, dear reader. I hope you will stay a while.
